Ahhhh To jam to the music of life! How great it is to hear beats of rythym and songs of living poetry that moves through your body giving you a rush of excitement, energy popping up through your innerself as lyrics motivate you to sing out and you *do a little dance* How great it is to find yourself in a song and see yourself in another's words, relating to millions of people across the world giving you a distant connection to a stranger across the seas. *I'm so overdosed on apathy*

hehehe lol I'm just messing around. I'm having an absolute fabulous morning lemme tell ya! I know I know, its been three days since I've jotted down some words in this little diddly. Pshhh the first thing I said was I was going to write more lol oi! I have been doing some off beat poetry the past couple of days. Been scribbling down some words in my notebook when I have some still time between classes. Hmm want to read one? Well I don't care I'm going to share it with you anyway! lol. I read this poem in my Banned Books class and it was called Incident, a small little diddly that had a great impact about racism...well it stayed stuck in my head when I went to my math class and I wrote this little poem that isn't quite done cause I have no idea where I was going with it but I don't throw anything away soooooo here it is.

The white man brought to taunt the black boy

The black boy raised to

hate the white dream

And I the brown girl am

caught in the middle of

an abominable twist

A black world, a white

vision and brown dust

left beneath the steps

Of a misled human

Illusions of hope devour

the line between wishfull

thinking and simplicity of

future greatness,

Color coded dreams of

significance...

Isn't that something. No idea I was just thinking and thinking and thinking and that poem was stuck in my head and so I just wrote. Yeah well I know it's not the best thing ever written but eh, they're my words! So I got through the first week of school. I totally dig my classes, I know I'm going to have a little trouble in that math class cause I don't speak mathamanese lemme tell ya. But my baby said she would help me cause oi, she loves numbers and all the gross shtuff! oi. My roomie also told me she would help me out and she's got the whole math deal down. So I think I can get through it! Carla and I have Art History together. Its an interesting class and I think if Carla and I work together to get throught the reading then it will be all good. Yvonne changed her major to Psychology. That's good I think she should do something she's happy with. She's really smart herself so she can do it. Carla I think needs to look into journalism. She's really good at writing and is always up to date with the music scene. I think its her secret passion hehe. That's coolness. My roomies are all cool and shit! lol

So onto other news hehehe the important shtuff. oh oh oh oh GUESS WHAT!? Kris is comeing! she is she is she is!! I'm sooooo excited!!! ugh we've been waiting soooo long for this and we totally deserve it! She'll be here Wed. March 17 at one something in the afternoon! We've been having some really awesome nitetime talks hehe. The connections are soo easy to make and having to hang up is so hard. But she'll be here soon. I can't wait! I'm a little nervous! I want her to really enjoy her time here. I hope I can do that. Ahhhh she's coming to Austin!! There are no more damn what ifs dude! I swear she's totally getting on that plane and I'm totally going to be there like three million hours early lol. *sigh* I think that this is going to be a great year. I do I really do. I mean maybe its starting you know? Maybe I'm growing up lol! Don't get me wrong I'm still all full of kidlike thoughts lol I mean I LOVE cartoons lol and cereal and my lion slippers and jammas...ok ok anywho but ugh! I am sooo excited!!! *so drop your plastic cups and clear your clouded heads* ooohh I am soo happy! I really am. She's coming she's coming! It's going to be sooo much fun having her here. I can't wait to spend time with her. I'm not going to want her to leave. I'm going to want to put her in my pocket! Ahhh! She's sooo wonderful! yay!

So things are going good. I mean I think its just going to be getting through this semmester! I really enjoy my classes though so I can do it! I have to lol!
